I am a very environmentally conscious and cleanly person, especially when it comes to my carpets. For me, a regular vacuum does not seem to get rid of all the dirt that gets in my carpets. A dirty carpet brings bacteria and diseases especially if you have little kids crawling on the carpet like I have. When I had my children, I looked for a carpet cleaner that would REALLY clean our carpet thoroughly without all of the harmful chemicals that are used with normal cleaners and that was when I found out about steam cleaners: steam cleaners are not only effective at getting rid of embedded dirt and sanitizing our carpets but they do so without all the harmful chemicals.
